Love students reaction to realizing their contradiction of wanting to learn everything without thinking
Makes sense. If Student is the opposite of Doris, she already has knowledge of everything and thus has no need to learn. Think back to “if I do not know what it is, how am I supposed to know what it is?” Student can’t think on their own at all, but has a seeming desire to learn everything. They’re sort of a vacuum, they contain nothing but want to pull things in.
Waffles worrying that he forgot to pay his child support is also hilarious.

I think there is three options for who "we" are
1. It is an extension to broccoli i.e. Hallucination or maybe something else (Doris is right)
2. Student isn't the only one
3. Student is Doris' real self outside of her fantasy see "KelOfTheStars" comment talking about how Doris is the antithesis of student
I think both 1 and 3 could be true at the same time
Why Student wants to learn everything? They say thinking hurts them, maybe they want to be omniscient like Lady Doris so that they will never need to think again.
